Veteran actor, Agbonifo Enaruna, who became famous for his role as ‘Idemudia’ in the long-running television show, “Hotel De Jordan” on the Midwestern Television, is dead.
Enaruna Agbonifo reportedly died in Benin City, Edo State on Friday.
Agbonifo acted in the all time classic which was created and produced by Chief Joe Ihonde alongside the likes of Sam Osamede(Chief Ajas)Musa Yusufu(Lord Mayor), Richard Idubor(Bob Allan), who is now Professor of Law at the University of Benin), as well as the late David Ariyo(Kokori), Joseph Edobor(Okhue), O’Ray slater(Casino Manager) and Sam Loco Efe(Chief Ukatabribri).
Enaruna Agbonifo will be remembered for his impressive talent as a consummate actor and great Edo cultural ambassador with undoubtedly one of the best vocal interpretations of all time.
